She is an honors graduate from The State University of New York at Purchase College where she received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance and was first introduced to The Pilates Method. Upon graduation, she moved to New York City where she worked with many freelance choreographers and started her own dance group exploring her own choreography. In 2002, she completed over 600 hours of teacher training and became certified through Pilates Inc. under the direction of Joseph Pilates' protégé Romana Kyrzanowska as well as Ton Voogt and Michael Fritzke. Danielle began teaching in the New York/Connecticut area continuing her practice through mentors such as Sari Mejia Santo, Bob Leiken and Mejo Wiggin and she later opened her first studio in Norwalk, CT in 2005. Since moving South, Danielle taught in the Charleston area of South Carolina and moved to Florida with her family in 2009. She has taught dance and Pilates throughout South Florida including at the Harid Conservatory, and in 2011 opened Classical Pilates at The Florida School for Dance Education. Shortly after in 2012, Danielle met Lolita San Miguel, one of two people to receive a certificate of certification from Joseph Pilates, and they formed a partnership. In 2014, she completed Lolita's Pilates Master Mentor Program and was selected to teach Lolita's Legacy™, a teacher training program developed by Lolita. Inspired by Lolita’s 58 years of Pilates practice, Danielle re-named the studio PILATES LIFE, and is proud to be the home of Lolita’s Pilates Center. When she is not at the Pilates Studio you can find her on the soccer fields with her two children Nathan and Amelia, or working with her husband Tim, a Chef and Owner/Operator of The Hybrid Chef in Jupiter.

Upon returning home, Carli was unsure about which path she wanted to pursue. One aspect that remained the same in her life was her love of fitness and movement. During Covid, she rediscovered her love for Pilates and dreamed of one day working in the industry. Fast forward three years later, she has recently completed Lolita’s Legacy Teacher Training Program under Educators Danielle Armstrong, Laura Cordle, and Marian Llamas. Carli was an integral part of the design of Lolita Pilates Online, and is excited to continue working with the team, working alongside Danielle as a Pilates Instructor and Assistant Business Manager.
